Cybertech Global UAE edition to showcase security innovation

To be held in Dubai from April 5-7, Cybertech Global UAE-Dubai 2021 will host top executives, world leaders, and leading decision-makers including H.E. Dr. Mohamed Hamad Hareb Al-Kuwaiti- Head of Cyber Security, UAE Government, Yigal Unna – Director General, Israel National Cyber Directorate, Israel, Dr. Marwan Alzarouni – Director of Information Services Department, Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC), UAE and Gen. (ret.), David H. Petraeus Former Director of the CIA, USA. The three-day event will be held on the cyber world’s main stage both in-person and virtually.

Featuring thousands of cyber industry experts from around the world, this highly anticipated event will include lectures, plenary sessions, and VIP speakers, in addition to an extensive exhibition for companies of all sizes along with a Startup Pavilion dedicated to young and innovative startups.

Due to the global pandemic, the past year has been filled with monumental changes and shifts in every aspect of our lives and witnessed an increase in the use of technology. A large part of Cybertech will thus be dedicated to cybersecurity challenges, strategies, and repercussions in a wide range of sectors and disciplines such as fintech, retail, insurance, aviation, economics, and politics. Deep technologies such as blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, quantum technology, and hardware security have far-reaching implications for the cyber industry and contain vital cybersecurity threats. Experts predict that 2021 will be another year of significant transition and rising threats, with attacks not only growing in frequency but becoming increasingly organization-wide and highly impactful.

The forum will also host two special executive events on Aviation and Maritime with industry and government leaders from the UAE, Israel, Europe, the USA, and other countries. These events will be the first of their kind with these decision-makers sitting around the same table, including participation from the DP World, the Israel National Cyber Directorate, FAA, EuroControl, Emirati Airlines, Israel Shipyards, and others.
