In a move to reinforce its global AI leadership, Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and Google Cloud have announced a strategic initiative to upskill Chief AI Officers (CAIOs) across government entities. This latest step strengthens Dubai’s commitment to advancing AI governance and innovation under the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence.
The initiative provides CAIOs with exclusive access to Google Cloud’s advanced AI solutions, training programs, and strategic frameworks, empowering them to spearhead high-impact AI initiatives within their organisations.
“By investing in the next generation of AI leadership, we are ensuring Dubai remains at the forefront of global innovation,” said Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation.
Ziad Jammal, General Manager for Google Cloud UAE, Levant and North Africa, emphasized, “Equipping Chief AI Officers with the latest applied AI knowledge is crucial to driving real-world transformation across government sectors.”
Through this collaboration, Dubai aims to solidify its position among the top 10 cities worldwide in government AI readiness, shaping a future where AI technologies responsibly enhance societal outcomes.
