Salesforce announced Slack as the System of Engagement for its Agentic Enterprise platform, introducing Slackbot as an employee superagent that brings together Agentforce teams, third-party AI agents, apps, and enterprise data into a single, coordinated digital workforce.
The move directly addresses a growing challenge for organisations. New capabilities include meeting transcription and automated follow-ups, contextual desktop integration, reusable AI skills that standardise workflows, and expanded connectivity across more than 6,000 enterprise applications. These capabilities are designed to embed AI directly into day-to-day operations, reducing friction and enabling faster, more consistent execution.
This shift marks a critical inflection point for UAE enterprises. The focus is no longer on adopting AI, but on operationalising it at scale. Data readiness and integration remain the primary bottlenecks, with disconnected systems preventing organisations from unlocking the full value of AI investments.

Slack serves 33 million monthly active users and facilitates more than 6 billion messages weekly, while organisations report measurable productivity gains, including up to 90 minutes saved per employee per day. Inside Salesforce, teams are saving up to 20 hours per week, generating over $6.4 million in productivity value.
