ServiceNow has expanded its cybersecurity portfolio with the launch of Autonomous Security, introducing six integrated security solutions designed to help organisations detect, prevent and respond to cyber risks as artificial intelligence becomes more widely adopted across the enterprise.
The announcement addresses a growing challenge for security teams as AI agents, machine identities and AI-generated code increase the number of assets requiring governance and protection. According to ServiceNow, many organisations continue to rely on dozens of disconnected security tools, limiting visibility across cloud environments, identities, endpoints and networks.
The new portfolio spans six areas: Unified Exposure Management, Continuous Vulnerability Detection, Cyber-Physical Security, Identity & Access Security, Agentic Incident Response, and Cyber Risk and Compliance. Together, the offerings are intended to provide a unified view of enterprise assets, identities and security operations while automating remediation and governance tasks.
ServiceNow said the capabilities are built around its “Shift Zero” approach, which focuses on embedding preventative security controls across enterprise environments rather than relying on reactive security measures.
“As AI exposures compound exponentially, security teams operate on a human clock,” said Yevgeny Dibrov, SVP and GM, cybersecurity and risk, ServiceNow. “Machine identities double every 18 months. Fragmented security tools can’t match the curve AI is creating. Organisations need autonomous security and governance that matches the scale, velocity, and unpredictability of the threats coming: where all assets, identities, AI agents, critical infrastructure, cloud environments and code are protected, and can adapt as fast as the ecosystem moves to detect and remediate threats in real-time. Security becomes an accelerant, not the brake.”
Available immediately are Agentic Exposure Management, Application Security, Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), External Attack Surface Management (EASM), Agentic AI for Cyber Physical Security, AI Agent Access Security and Non-Human Identity Remediation. ServiceNow said additional capabilities, including the Tier 2 SOC AI Specialist, Vulnerability Resolution AI Specialist, Agentic AI for Continuous Control Monitoring and Cryptographic Asset Compliance, are expected to become available in December 2026.
