Genetec announced its empower360 roadshow will return to the United Arab Emirates. Taking place in Abu Dhabi on September 16, the partner-focused events will bring together physical security professionals and technology experts to explore how data-driven strategies, operational intelligence and emerging technologies are transforming the future of physical security.
Held under the theme “Advancing Security Through Intelligence and Innovation,” this year’s roadshow comes as organizations increasingly move beyond standalone systems and look for more connected approaches to strengthen physical security while supporting wider operational objectives. According to the Genetec 2026 State of Physical Security Report, 71% of respondents are already using unified or integrated video surveillance and access control systems. The report also found that 60% of channel respondents identified integrating systems with new technologies as the primary motivation for customers replacing legacy systems.
Across the Middle East, continued investment in digital infrastructure, smart developments and large-scale transformation initiatives is also changing the role physical security plays within organizations.
