The 29th edition of Cairo ICT 2025, the International Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa, concluded with record-breaking attendance, marking the highest turnout in the event’s history. The exhibition welcomed 161,000 visitors over four days from November 16 to 19, 2025, in addition to 82,000 visitors to Connecta, the dedicated exhibition for youth and entertainment technologies. The event was held under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt.
Cairo ICT 2025, together with its parallel exhibitions PAFIX and AIDC, took place across four halls at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, featuring 96 panel discussions with 491 speakers from leading technology and innovation sectors. Connecta hosted an additional 84 sessions, while the exhibition witnessed the signing of more than 27 major partnership agreements.
This year’s edition also included five high-level consultancy meetings between international experts and exhibiting companies, along with several strategic roundtables, most notably in the healthcare sector, and for the first time, in the aviation sector. In addition, Cairo ICT hosted over 20 dedicated meetings for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), reinforcing its position as the largest gathering of cybersecurity leaders and specialists in Egypt and the region.
During the event’s closing press conference, Osama Kamal, Chairman of Tradefairs International, organiser of Cairo ICT, expressed deep appreciation to H.E. the Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly for inaugurating the exhibition, and to H.E. Dr. Amr Talaat for his continuous support and patronage. He also thanked H.E. Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, for his participation and sponsorship of the AIDC conference, and extended gratitude to the Central Bank of Egypt, the official sponsor of PAFIX, represented by Eng. Ayman Hussein, First Sub-Governor for IT, and Mr. Mohamed Amer, Acting Sub-Governor for Banking Operations and Payment Systems.

He emphasised that the exceptional success of Cairo ICT 2025 reflects a fully integrated ecosystem of collaboration between the organising team, media partners, and exhibitors who remained committed over the years, regardless of challenges. He noted that this year witnessed strong and first-time participation from several major companies.
Kamal announced that the 30th edition of Cairo ICT will be held on November 8, 2026, taking into consideration the upcoming local and regional developments anticipated next November. He affirmed that artificial intelligence will continue to occupy a central role in the event, given its growing impact across all economic sectors, not only technology. He also revealed that this year’s official exhibition video was produced entirely using AI tools.
“The truth is, AI is everywhere,” Kamal said. “Its role extends far beyond popular applications related to chat or image generation. Artificial intelligence is reshaping every sector, and all professionals need to understand how to integrate these transformative technologies into their fields to fully benefit from their unprecedented potential.”
