data protection security cybersecurity

Check Point Software Technologies has announced the launch of its advanced Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solution, the Check Point Infinity XDR/XPR, in the UAE. This significant move aims to address the region’s critical need for a prevention-first cyber security strategy, equipping organisations to proactively identify, prevent, and mitigate complex cyber threats.

Check Point’s Infinity XDR/XPR advances beyond traditional detection-based solutions by emphasising a proactive, prevention-first approach to cyber security. As the UAE’s digital landscape grows more complex, so does the demand for sophisticated security measures. Infinity XDR/XPR excels by integrating and analysing threat data from across an organisation’s entire security ecosystem, including networks, endpoints, emails, cloud environments, and IoT devices, alongside third-party data. This comprehensive solution not only identifies and addresses critical threats that might otherwise be missed but also utilises automated playbooks to contain attacks, prevent their recurrence, and minimise operational disruption, providing robust and efficient protection.

“We are proud to introduce Check Point Infinity XDR/XPR to the UAE, reinforcing our commitment to delivering proactive, prevention-first cyber security solutions in the region,” said Ram Narayanan, Country Manager at Check Point Software Technologies, Middle East. “Infinity XDR/XPR is designed to not just detect but prevent sophisticated attacks before they impact organisations. By integrating seamlessly with the Check Point Infinity Platform, it provides a comprehensive, collaborative and consolidated protection against today’s evolving cyber threats. This launch is a key part of our ongoing investment in the region, enabling businesses to stay ahead in the ever-changing cyber threat landscape.”

Key features of Check Point Infinity XDR/XPR include:

  • Comprehensive AI-Powered Protection: As part of the Check Point Infinity cyber security platform, Infinity XDR/XPR delivers accurate attack prevention across networks, endpoints, emails, cloud environments and IoT devices. Its AI-powered and cloud-delivered capabilities ensure robust security across the entire security estate.
  • Seamless Integration and Data Ingestion: Infinity XDR/XPR integrates effortlessly with both Check Point and third-party security solutions. It can ingest and analyse data from a wide range of sources, including multiple gateways and third-party data feeds, providing a unified view of security across diverse systems.
  • Advanced Indicator of Compromise (IoC) Management: The solution features advanced IoC management that automatically blocks malicious indicators detected on any connected product or external data feed, ensuring proactive threat mitigation and reducing the risk of lateral movement within the network.
  • Enhanced Threat Intelligence and Automated Response: Powered by ThreatCloud AI, Infinity XDR/XPR leverages global threat intelligence to provide real-time insights and context on emerging threats. It performs cross-product detection and correlation, enabling automated responses such as isolating compromised endpoints and blocking malicious indicators, significantly reducing incident response times and operational overhead.

Check Point will showcase the Infinity XDR/XPR solution at GITEX 2024, providing an in-depth look at its capabilities and demonstrating how it helps organisations stay ahead of sophisticated cyber threats.
