FireEye has appointed David Grout as CTO for EMEA, to help drive regional sales and the technological development of products.
Grout commented: “The need has never been so high for innovative technical solutions that combat increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks. Therefore, it’s a great time to take on this new role and help develop tools to protect organizations in EMEA. These technical solutions combined with the threat intelligence and expertise of FireEye means we can offer a high level of protection for our customers.”
As part of the CTO role, Grout will be looking to increase adoption and awareness of new products to support business growth. To achieve this, he will be engaging with customers to understand their needs and validate the technical direction and roadmaps of FireEye in EMEA. This regional insight will be fed back to the corporate engineering and product management teams.
