At GISEC 2020, IT management solutions provider SolarWinds is focusing on its Zero Trust Security Model portfolio. Customers and partners attending the show have the opportunity to learn more about the vendor’s offerings and how it can help them strengthen their cybersecurity postures.

Customers opting for SolarWinds Zero Trust Security Model can take advantage of the four different solutions in Solarwinds security portfolio. The first solution, “SolarWinds Access Rights Manager” ensures the right access is given to the right users. The second solution “Security Event Manager” provides real-time security incident awareness, reduced threat detection and response times, file integrity monitoring and USB active response blocking.
The other two solutions, ‘Network Configuration Manager and Server Configuration Monitor’ monitors the changes that takes place within the environment, here the customers can detect, alert, and report on changes in network/system configuration, inventory, registry entries and text or log files.
“In summary to implement a zero-trust security model – we have to keep monitoring different user privileges, detect and monitor the configuration changes and this should be an exercise that is followed consistently,” explained Rehan.
According to Rehan, attendees at the event have shown interest in SolarWinds Zero Trust Security Model and many are looking to expand their existing platform with some/all the solutions within the security portfolio.
