Motorola Launches moto g 5G in the UAE

Motorola has launched the most affordable 5G Smartphone in the UAE. Priced at just 999 AED, moto g 5G is the first device in the region to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G processor – ideal for speed and immersive gaming, said the company.

The moto g 5G comes during a time in which Motorola seeks to expand its product portfolio and cater to increasingly diverse audiences. As part of the company’s wider strategy, Motorola aims to accelerate innovations in mobile connectivity, while also ensuring it meets the common end-user requirements such as ease-of-use and affordability.

Motorola’s new device builds on a long-standing history of championing innovation, according to the firm. The company has been leading the roll out of 5G technology – in 2019, the smartphone manufacturer was the first to connect its devices to 5G with the launch of the moto z with 5G mods. Recently, Motorola also launched its moto g series of 5G-compatible smartphones, starting with the moto g 5G plus, as well as the highly anticipated Motorola RAZR 5G. The launch of the moto g 5G is another step in this direction towards access to supercharged connectivity.

As the most affordable 5G smartphone on the market today, we’re confident that the moto g 5G will revolutionize user experience with regards to downloading, sharing, streaming and gaming,” said Sharay Shams, General Manager, Motorola Middle East.

The new moto g 5G empowers users to be more productive and immersed in their content, at a time in which high performance connectivity could not be more crucial. The moto g 5G is the first smartphone regionally to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G processor, delivering blazing-fast speeds and crisp visuals in an instant. Users can download movies in seconds, stream intensive online games with minimal lag and experience crystal clear video conferencing.

In addition to delivering on speed and a competitive price point, the moto g 5G also boasts a 48 MP triple camera system, which leverages Quad Pixel technology to deliver sharper and brighter photos in any light condition. Meanwhile, the 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens fits 4x more into the frame, while the dedicated Macro Vision camera delivers 5x zoom functionality, empowering users to take incredible close-up shots. The 16MP main selfie camera has a large 2.0 μm pixel size, ideal for capturing special moments and sharing with loved ones.

The moto g 5G also comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, which gives users over 2 days of battery life on a single charge. When in need of a quick recharge, 20W TurboPower charging offering 10 hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging.

All of this power and performance helps to provide a truly immersive experience on the moto g 5G’s stunning 6.7-inch MaxVision FHD+ display with HDR10 technology that delivers vivid, true-to-life color with improved brightness and contrast. In addition to its slim profile and 20:9 aspect ratio, moto g 5G users can also customize storage to meet their personal requirements.

The moto g 5G features 6GB of RAM and built-in storage of 128GB, which can be expanded up to 1TB through the microSD card slot.

Motorola’s new moto g 5G comes in a stylish Volcanic Gray color, priced at 999 AED (VAT inclusive) and is available in the UAE from LuLu Hypermarket, Carrefour, Noon, Amazon and Sharaf DG.
