Napster and HUMAIN announced a strategic partnership to bring advanced Arabic-native AI experiences to public and private sector organisations across the MENA region.
The collaboration combines HUMAIN IQ, HUMAIN’s AI services platform, and HUMAIN Voice with Napster’s video presence, Large Persona Model technology and multimodal agent infrastructure. Together, the companies will integrate Arabic-first language and speech capabilities into embodied AI experiences designed for organisations and users across the region.
The partnership also marks an important example of Saudi-developed technology being used to enhance the capabilities of an international technology company, demonstrating HUMAIN’s growing role as a source of technology with international applications.
Through HUMAIN IQ and HUMAIN Voice, Napster will gain programmatic access to selected HUMAIN capabilities through secure APIs, including:
- ALLAM – HUMAIN’s proprietary large language model, supporting text generation, summarisation and function calling;
- HUMAIN Voice ASR Real Time – Arabic-first, real-time automatic speech recognition that transcribes audio input into text; and
- HUMAIN Voice TTS Real Time – natural-sounding speech synthesis from text across multiple Arabic dialects.
These capabilities will work alongside Napster’s embodied and agentic AI technologies to create a new class of Arabic-native digital employee. The resulting AI agents are designed to understand and communicate naturally in Arabic, carry persistent memory, and interact with customers and colleagues through voice, video and conversational interfaces.
“Arabic-speaking markets have been underserved by AI platforms built for English-first models. A digital agent that stumbles over the language it’s supposed to speak in is not a workforce solution,” said John Acunto, CEO of Napster. “HUMAIN’s models give our platform the linguistic and cultural fluency to earn trust in this market. That changes what we can offer organisations here.”
With a growing, digitally enabled young workforce and consumer base across the wider region, customers increasingly expect AI to engage with them in Arabic as a baseline and to understand the cultural nuances that shape how they communicate and interact. Napster plans to bring these capabilities directly to its existing public and private sector clients across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, creating immediate opportunities to deploy Arabic-fluent digital employees at scale.
“The next generation of AI must be native to the markets it serves, but the technology we build in Saudi Arabia must also be capable of extending across new markets,” said Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN. “This partnership is an important example of Saudi-developed AI technology supporting an international technology company. By combining HUMAIN IQ, ALLAM and HUMAIN Voice with Napster’s embodied AI capabilities, we are creating solutions designed for the region while demonstrating the growing international relevance of HUMAIN’s technology.”
The collaboration reflects the complementary strengths of both companies. HUMAIN brings Arabic-first models, speech capabilities and AI services through HUMAIN IQ, while Napster brings its video presence, Large Persona Model technology and multimodal agent infrastructure. Together, the companies aim to make sophisticated, Arabic-native AI experiences easier for public and private sector organisations to deploy.
The partnership also demonstrates the role of HUMAIN IQ and HUMAIN Voice as a platform through which Saudi-developed AI capabilities can be integrated into international technologies and applications. Through secure APIs, technology companies can incorporate HUMAIN’s models and services into their own platforms, expanding the reach and practical application of AI technology developed in the Kingdom.
By combining HUMAIN’s sovereign AI capabilities with Napster’s deployment infrastructure, the two companies are positioned to support public and private sector organisations in adopting next-generation AI services without the complexity typically associated with building from scratch.
The HUMAIN partnership is part of Napster’s ongoing commitment to the region and its effort to expand its footprint across the Middle East. Further initiatives and deployments are planned throughout 2026.
