Redington reinforces long-term commitment to the region at ITEX Iraq 2026

Redington has reinforced its long-term commitment to Iraq at ITEX Iraq 2026, highlighting continued investment in the market and a focus on strengthening distribution infrastructure, local capabilities and access to global technology.

Iraq represents a market with significant potential as organisations across the public and private sectors accelerate modernisation and invest across the technology stack – from endpoint devices, infrastructure and networking to mobility, cybersecurity, cloud, artificial intelligence and digital services.

As Redington deepens its presence in Iraq, the company is laying the foundation to serve the market more effectively as a distributor. This includes establishing the capability to bill directly within the country, developing local warehousing infrastructure and strengthening logistics operations.

These investments are designed to simplify the route to market, improve product availability and make it easier for partners to transact and respond to customer demand.

At ITEX Iraq 2026, Redington engaged with customers, partners and industry stakeholders to understand evolving business priorities and demonstrate how its broad portfolio and technology ecosystem can support organisations across their transformation journeys.

Jeetendra Berry, President, GCC & Levant, Redington, said, “We see tremendous potential in Iraq. There is a clear appetite for technology, modernisation and new capabilities, and we believe this opportunity will continue to grow. Our commitment to the market is long term, and that means establishing the right foundations on the ground. Looking ahead, we plan to introduce local billing, warehousing and logistics capabilities to make it easier for partners to transact and scale. As a technology ecosystem orchestrator, we are bringing together the right technologies, expertise and partners to address evolving customer needs. Our focus is on making it easier for partners in Iraq to access technology, serve their customers and grow their businesses.”

Alongside its participation at ITEX, Redington also hosted an exclusive networking dinner in Baghdad for key systems integrators, creating an opportunity for deeper conversations around market priorities, customer requirements and areas of collaboration. The gathering reinforced Redington’s focus on building stronger relationships with the local partner community and staying closely connected to the businesses serving customers on the ground.

Alongside its distribution investments, Redington is building stronger in-market capabilities by combining local expertise with access to its global network of technology brands, specialists and services.

The company also sees talent development as critical to building a sustainable technology market. Through partner enablement, knowledge transfer and closer engagement with global technology vendors, Redington aims to strengthen technical and commercial skills across the ecosystem.

ITEX Iraq provided an important platform for Redington to connect directly with the market, understand customer and partner priorities, and reinforce its commitment to the country’s evolving technology landscape.

Berry added, “Building a sustainable technology market requires more than bringing products into the country. It requires strong infrastructure, efficient commercial models and people with the right capabilities. By investing across these areas, we are creating a stronger foundation for long-term growth and helping partners serve customers more effectively.”

Redington will continue expanding its engagement with technology vendors, partners and customers in Iraq as it invests in the capabilities required to help the market Unlock Next.
