Supporting Middle East organisations to further transform their remote and hybrid working environments, Condo Protego, the leading UAE-based IT infrastructure and information management consultancy and solutions provider, has increased its investment and commitment to support its customers on their digital transformation journeys. Towards this end, it has increased its staff strength by 40 percent, primarily in the areas of workforce transformation, data centre modernisation, and cybersecurity.

With Middle East organisations outlining their IT budgets for 2021, the region is seeing an across-the-board acceleration of technological innovation agendas.

Only 2 percent of organisations worldwide have not seen success in their digital transformation during the pandemic, according to a recent survey by Vanson Bourne for VMware. In their business agendas, the respondents have said their top three priorities are to increase business efficiency (48 percent), improve customer experience (42 percent), and upgrade existing technology platforms (39 percent).

However, 87 percent of organisations said they face roadblocks in their strategies, which services partners, such as Condo Protego, can help to resolve.

“Middle East organisations are aligned with global trends in investing in digital transformation during the pandemic, but need more guidance in best practices,” said Andrew Calthorpe, CEO, Condo Protego, which is a VMware Enterprise Solutions Provider. “By expanding our staff with experienced and certified VMware consultants, Middle East organisations can rest assured that they are working with a trusted advisor to enable their remote and hybrid working environments.”

One of the Middle East’s biggest technological shifts is towards hybrid cloud environments, along with workforce transformation, data centre modernisation, and network virtualisation.

Using VMware’s industry leading cloud, virtualisation, and security solutions, Middle East organisations gain a solid IT foundation for current and future business needs.

Middle East organisations are posting strong demand for VMware’s solutions such as the VMware Tanzu Portfolio for modernising applications and infrastructure; the VMware SD-WAN by VeloCloud to deliver high-performance, reliable branch access across the clients’ entire infrastructure.

With security top of mind, Middle East organisations are also looking to adopt the VMware NSX platform for full-stack network and security virtualisation; and the VMware Carbon Black Endpoint for cloud native endpoint protection.
