The third edition of the Cyber Strategists Summit and Awards 2024 took place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai on April 23rd. This gathering brought together industry practitioners and cybersecurity experts from the region to delve into innovative approaches to bolster cyber resilience and explore new advancements in the field.
During the event, we had the privilege of honouring security professionals who have showcased exceptional leadership and innovation, as well as acknowledging vendors for their significant contributions to the industry.
The summit commenced with insightful keynote address by Rajesh Yadla, CISO of a leading bank in Dubai. He provided a fascinating glimpse into the current challenges faced by CISOs and illuminated how these challenges can be transformed into opportunities. His address, cleverly intertwined with examples from the world of Lightening McQueen, sparked engaging discussions among attendees.

The overarching takeaway from this enlightening discussion was the paramount importance of collaboration. Emphasizing the significance of building a cohesive community comprising CISOs, partners, customers, and C-suite executives, the panel stressed that leveraging the latest technology in tandem with collaborative efforts is imperative in addressing the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
