Etisalat Group has signed an agreement to acquire the complete ownership of regional cybersecurity solutions provider Help AG’s operations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
In a statement posted on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, the UAE telecom provider said the acquisition is in line with its digital strategy as the company enhances and diversifies its digital portfolio.
Etisalat aims to “accelerate the growth of its existing cybersecurity activities and allow for further expansion in the region.”
According to the company, the closing of the deal is still subject to fulfilling certain conditions.
The value of the deal was not disclosed in the statement.
