Cybersecurity attacks like Ransomware have increased tremendously. Attackers are targeting in different manners that makes endpoint even more vulnerable. Attacking procedures, tactics and techniques are changing rapidly. Moving ahead of this Cyber threat business and providing innovative Cybersecurity solutions, Sophos delivers a broad portfolio of advanced products and services to secure users, networks and endpoints against ransomware, malware, exploits, phishing and the wide range of other cyberattacks.

“This year at GITEX, Sophos’ focus is distributed in two sections – Adaptive Cybersecurity Ecosystem, which includes a centralized data lake that leverages a rich set of open APIs available to customers, partners, developers, and other cybersecurity and information technology vendors. Cybersecurity-as-a-service to organizations needing fully managed, turnkey security solutions. We did a survey in 31 countries covering 5600 organisations and found that ransomware is becoming a bigger threat as the attacks have become extremely sophisticated and complex in nature. Everyone has a varied product range, but doesn’t have in-house skills to manage those products, and which is why they are not able to leverage the full power and strength of the product. Hence having Cybersecurity skills has become a necessity. Cybersecurity-as-a-service helps organisations to acquire such skills from the vendor”, says Ajay Nawani, Director Sales Engineering (MEA) at Sophos.

According to him when we talk about the next digital universe, we are referring to the digital experience, which is going to affect the personal, and the business life. Workforce is operating remotely; consequently, the threat landscape is expanding. Users are the weakest link hence to protect this digital experience and to expedite the digital transformation; we need to have a strong Cybersecurity ecosystem that can work on-premises as well as cloud. This is exactly where Cybersecurity as a Service platform comes into picture.

Ajay mentions that Managed Detection Response (MDR) and Cloud based security solutions will be their focus in upcoming years and they will continue to deliver superior cybersecurity outcomes for real-world organisations.
