What are some of the workforce management trends to watch in 2020?

There are many changes and trends that field service companies are facing today, from the emergence of new service delivery models to the growing customer expectations, adopting new technologies will be necessary to stay ahead in the industry.

In 2020, we will see smarter use of data analysis, backend processes automation, and an increased reliance on mobile tools.

So far, the systems used by field service technicians use have remained manual. Is that changing now?

The Middle East region is considered late to use cloud systems to automate field operations if we compare it globally, but I believe that the effect of COVID-19 on economies, businesses, and consumer behavior will accelerate the adaptation of process automation solutions, streamlined communications with the workforce or customers, and data analysis.

It’s not just a matter of increasing productivity and operations efficiency, it’s a matter of who will stay in the market and who will not.

How you are helping technicians reduce unplanned downtime and improve customer satisfaction?

With smart scheduling and dispatching, iForce is helping field service technicians to better utilize their fieldworkers, reduce idle time, assign and share details of a job when their workers are on the field based on their location or travel route. They can even Clock-in and Clock-out for attendance based on geo-fenced territory or location.

By using iForce, businesses can improve workers’ productivity, reduce operating costs, and mobile cross-functional and remote teams while saving time to focus on delivering better service and products for their customers.

Are you leveraging any sort of IoT platform?

As of today, we are more focused on delivering mobility solutions and leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies in order to empower businesses to make smarter and data-driven decisions. However, IoT is something that we might consider in the med-long run.
