At GITEX Global 2025, HONOR will demonstrate how AI innovation can create real-world impact, showcasing both its pioneering on-device technologies and a growing ecosystem of connected smart devices.
“We’re really excited to show how HONOR is using AI to make a real difference in people’s lives,” said Debo Zhang, General Manager – HONOR GCC. “One of the highlights is our on-device Deepfake Detection — it’s the first of its kind on smartphones. What’s great about it is that users can instantly check if a video is real, without needing any extra apps or sharing their personal data. It’s all about giving people confidence and peace of mind in a world where digital content can be tricky to trust.”
Zhang described the feature as a reflection of HONOR’s commitment to human-centric AI — technology that prioritises safety, privacy, and ease of use. This principle also shapes HONOR’s broader portfolio, from phones and tablets to laptops, wearables, and cross-OS connectivity, which together offer consumers a seamless and intelligent digital experience.
The company’s vision for AI extends beyond devices. On October 26, HONOR will open a new AI Smart Living Innovation Hub at Dubai Mall — a concept store designed to bring the brand’s innovation philosophy to life by merging technology with cultural inspiration.
“Exhibiting at GITEX is a great way for HONOR to show our commitment to the UAE and GCC’s digital transformation,” Zhang added. “Through showcasing our innovations and forming strategic partnerships — like our MoU with Zayed University — we’re helping lay the groundwork for long-term growth in the Middle East and supporting the next generation of AI talent and solutions.”
