  1. What is Software AG showcasing at LEAP this year?

Our focus at the show reiterates simplifying the connected world with data at its core, giving organisations a digital backbone that enables them to simplify complexities and build sustainable business models that drive transformational growth.

In line with our core message, the booth will showcase solutions, use cases and prototypes of sustainable future ready and smart connected enterprises that offer seamless integrated experiences, drive competitive advantages and strengthen long term strategic position. This is facilitated by our suite of solutions that include Integration & API management, IoT & Analytics, and Business Transformation.

In addition, visitors will also be able to witness IoT, AI and ML future ready sustainable smart innovations and use cases developed by three finalist university teams out of 38 teams, from nine universities across the Kingdom, under Software AG’s ‘Future Disruptors Program’.  Moreover, several success stories bolstering digitally empowered economies are showcased at this year’s show.

The booth brings to life the connected enterprise ecosystem, that breaks through silos and accelerates innovation within organisations.

 

  1. How are you helping to turn Saudi vision into reality?

Given that the digital transformation required to meet seamless connected experiences is increasingly complex and more difficult to navigate with constantly changing needs, Software AG empowers Saudi organisations to simplify the truly connected enterprise for elevated experiences, in line with Saudi Arabia’s vision and strategy. This means, we enable organisations to integrate systems seamlessly, connect technology more effectively and run processes more effortlessly, enabling the flow of information and insights more freely. Software AG platforms create the “digital backbone” that sync applications, devices, data and clouds; empowers streamlined processes; and connects “things” such as sensors, machines and robots to make smarter decisions, faster.

Moreover, with the Kingdom’s sustainable and strong ‘digital-first’ focus, the truly connected world must also be a sustainable world, Software AG is committed to technology adoption driven with a purpose for the community to create sustainable and more liveable cities. Software AG is in sync with the aim to play a role in driving smarter cities. The ‘Future Disruptors Program’ and the intent to build ‘the region’s first IoT Academy’ are key initiatives in line with creating new innovations for smart city acceleration.

 

  1. How is Software AG building skills in KSA?

Software AG has instituted Future Disruptors Program – an annual initiative started in 2020 for undergraduate students with chapters in Saudi Arabia and UAE. The program nurtures innovation among students by bridging the gap between the current developments in the corporate world with increasing expectations of the ‘digitally-native’ and ‘sustainable-conscious’ workforce and citizens of tomorrow. Earlier this year, Software AG signed a partnership agreement with Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), under which both entities will work collaboratively on an ongoing basis in various areas of cooperation, including onboarding youth from Universities and Institutions in line with Saudi vision 2030’s talent development goals.

Currently, the second edition of this program in Saudi Arabia underway at LEAP showcases IoT, AI and Machine Learning student innovations to bring value for future ready sustainable smart cities.  Under this year’s theme “Transform, Evolve and Simplify” the program received an overwhelming response from over nine universities, 204 students comprising of a total of 38 teams, with top three finalist teams that were announced and that are currently showcasing their prototypes and competing for internship learning opportunities at Software AG and its partner companies for the winning jury award. The finale gala event on 8th February alongside LEAP will applaud the winning team. With attendance expected from advocates of leading government and non-government organisations in the region as members of the jury who run a rigorous judging process to award the most deserving idea as part of the region’s innovation agenda.
